Cosplay Realm No. 49 is officially here! This month’s theme is Crafting, and in this issue we are celebrating everything that goes into the “craft” of cosplay! From sewing to armor crafting, wig styling to make up, and even props! We also wanted to use this issue to celebrate those in the cosplay community who take commissions, showing off some of their work in this issue!
Our cover feature this month is with Akakioga Cosplay! She is cosplaying as Confessor Paletress, based on a design by Zach Fischer and photographed by Alexandra Lee Studios! We spoke with Akakioga about both crafting cosplays and bought cosplays, the process behind some of her cosplays, learning new techniques, and the importance of POC representation in the cosplay community.
