Halloween is right around the corner, which means its officially time to start celebrating one of our favorite holidays! Halloween holds a special place in the hearts of many cosplayers, so this is a big one for us to celebrate every year! Many cosplayers first got their start with costuming through the act of dressing up for Halloween, and so many of us have been incredibly passionate about it ever since! Plus it is also the time of spooky movies, jack-o-lanterns, monsters, and pumpkin spice everything!
With it being October 1st, we are so proud to bring you guys another of our annual Halloween issues! This year’s Halloween issue features cosplayer Amanda, Witchy Brew (Instagram, Twitter, Twitch, TikTok) on the cover as Pennywise from Stephen King’s It! The photos here on the cover spread are shot by World of Gwendana (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Website) and they so perfectly captured the spirit of this terrifying character together! Amanda was such a perfect fit for this issue’s cover, in her cosplay portfolio you can find such an impressive range of costumes from spooky to cute. One thing that many of her costumes have in common is incredible makeup! You’ll definitely want to pick up this issue to read our full interview with her in it where we talk about cosplay, Halloween, makeup, being a creator online, and using different platforms such as Twitch and TikTok.
In addition to our cover feature, there are also lots of other fun things you can find inside this month’s issue! Celebrating all things spooky and dark, our Halloween issue is perfect to get in the spirit of the most haunted time of year! To name just a few of the other types of cosplays you can find in this issue, there are cosplays from anime like Madoka Magica and Future Diary, cosplays from animated films like Coraline and Nightmare before Christmas, and much more! There are of course lots of Halloween classics like Elvira and The Addams Family, and Horror movie classics like Friday the 13th! Seriously if you are at all a lover of Horror and the Halloween season we are sure that this issue will have everything you want and more!
