CRM #40: The LVL UP! Issue

Cosplay Realm Magazine is so proud to share a look into our 40th issue, the LVL UP! Issue! First of all, wow! 40 whole issues of Cosplay Realm? That feels like such a huge number to us, and sometimes it feels like just yesterday that we released issue number 4. Thank you so much to everyone for your support over the years bringing us to this place!
The LVL UP! Issue of Cosplay Realm is all things gaming, with a big focus on League of Legends for this issue! Our cover feature this month is with the incredible Shannon of Fairly Fantastic Cosplay (Instagram, Facebook) who is photographed here by Jacob.Cr2 (Instagram, Website). We have an awesome interview with Fairly Fantastic where we talk about cosplaying from League of Legends, eSports events, fandom community, and crafting wigs and props!
With our League of Legends feature this month, we have included sections for each of the regions in the League of Legends universe, as well as sections for some of our favorite events and skin lines like K/DA and the Star Guardians! It was so cool seeing the League of Legends cosplay community come together to celebrate one of their favorite games!
In addition to cosplay features, in our League section you can also find a few awesome articles written by people in the community! Some that we really loved included an article about hosting and running the League of Legends Collegiate Championship, by Liz of Funscuttle Cosplay who acted as a member of the broadcast crew for the event; and an article by Electric Seafoam about facetime photoshoots and the ways that some cosplayers and photographers have adapted to keep being creative and making content during the tough times of the COVID19 pandemic.
Besides League of Legends, there is also plenty of other video game content to be found inside our LVL UP! Issue! Some of the other video games featured in this issue include Overwatch, Persona, The Last of Us, World of Watcraft, Nier, and much more! We also have a small section on Nintendo games! If you’re excited for some more Nintendo cosplays, you’ll definitely want to keep an eye out for Cosplay Realm’s next issue coming up because there will be a LOT of Nintendo content coming soon for September 2020!
