The summer seems to be flying by so fast! It’s hard to believe we’re already part way through August, huh? This month, Cosplay Realm is celebrating all things Nintendo with our newest issue, and we’re so excited for you all to see what we have in store for you!
On the cover of this month’s issue of the magazine is Li Kovacs! Li is an avid and award-winning cosplayer. She has a special love for Nintendo and their many game series, particularly The Legend of Zelda series, and has cosplayed many characters over the years! Outside of cosplay she also does traditional and digital art as well as photography. In this issue of Cosplay Realm you can find a full interview with Li as well as a photo spread showing some of her work! In our interview we chatted with her about bringing her favorite characters to life, the many skills that go into creating and shooting your own cosplays, her official brand work with Nintendo, being a mother, and more! Another exciting interview that you can find in this month’s issue of Cosplay Realm is with Dangerous Pixels! While their work isn’t directly cosplay related, we think our readers and fans of Nintendo alike will love reading this feature! Dangerous Pixels is a photographer specializing in toy and figure photography. They have a real talent for bringing these figures to life through sets and props and really telling a story through their work! Dangerous Pixels has worked on an official level with Nintendo and Gamestop to photograph their newest products. Looking at their photography you almost forget that these figures aren’t really living their lives in these settings, and their work is so inspirational for any artist! Other than interviews, we made sure to touch on as many big Nintendo series as we could in this issue! Inside you can find sections on Super Mario Bros, Pokémon, Fire Emblem, Metroid, and Splatoon to name a few. By far the biggest section in this month’s issue is The Legend of Zelda section, making us feel even more hyped for the upcoming Breath of the Wild sequel game!
This month’s issue is well over double the size of a normal issue of Cosplay Realm Magazine, coming in at 82 pages! With an issue that jam packed with great content, there’s bound to be something for everyone! We can’t wait for you guys to get your hands on a copy of this issue, we think you’re all really going to love it!
