Cosplayer Highlight: Anaelic

Today we wanted to take some time and highlight a particular cosplayer that we really loved from our recent Fire Emblem issue! That cosplayer is Anaelic, and we are so excited to show off some of their work to you guys!
Anaelic is a cosplayer based out of Scotland. You can find their work in a few different spreads in our recent Fire Emblem issue, and for good reason! They cosplay so many beloved characters from the Fire Emblem series! And their artillery of fantastic cosplays just keeps growing as they have since done a shoot as Lysithea from Fire Emblem: Three Houses and are working on even more cosplays for the future!

We love their photoshoot with Catberry Photography as Sumia from Fire Emblem: Awakening. The colors in these photos really stood out to us, and we loved the heavy pink themes that are found in Sumia’s character, the cherry blossoms around Anaelic, and the color tone in the photos! They made these seem so soft and we think they are really beautiful.

Sumia isn’t the only character from Fire Emblem: Awakening that Anaelic has cosplayed! They have also done a gorgeous rendition of Olivia, here photographed by Papercube. The combination of Olivia’s outfit and the photography here really exemplifies the movement of the dancer class from the game!

The next cosplay of Anaelic’s that we are excited to show you guys is their cosplay of Sothis from Fire Emblem: Three Houses! Anaelic did such a good job embodying the attitude of this character, and everything about this is so perfect! The location these photos are shot at look just like the hallways of Garreg Mach Monastery, and having such a perfect location really helps the cosplay feel like it is coming right out of the game! These photos were shot by Satin Dress Photography, and we love their use of lighting and angles in these photos!
